With over 6 years of hands-on experience in commercial snow and ice management, Ty Sierpien brings a rare combination of operational expertise and business leadership to every property we service. Starting as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Ty learned the industry from his father when he turned sixteen. He was tasked with hands on experience and "being thrown into the fire" - mastering machine operation, route planning and optimization, problem solving, and more before advancing to Area Manager and eventually General Manager at SV Enterprises. Unfortunetly, due to financial reasons and other family business pulling at the strings SV Enterprises was sold.
In that role, Ty led all sales and client retention efforts while overseeing the scheduling, routing, and deployment of 30+ crew members across 16+ service routes. From scoping new sites and determining labor, equipment, and salt/liquid application needs to monitoring weather conditions and managing real-time operations during storms, Ty has built a reputation for reliable, well-organized service — even through overnight and weather-dependent hours when it matters most.
That firsthand experience managing large-scale commercial accounts such as Amazon, Old Dominion, Advocate, Jewel Osco, and more is the foundation NIL Snow is built on: a company that understands what it takes to keep properties safe, accessible, and open for business no matter what winter brings.
